Kiwi USA Champs & Martin Rooney!

1) YouTube Warriors education or entertainment?
2) His favorite place he visited in his 2nd book & why?
3) The martial art that is entrenched in WORK ETHIC!
4) Where does Aerobic conditioning fit into his training model, if at all?
5) His FOUNDATIONS for Combat Training, this may surprise you as it doesn't start with "weights"!
6) Training SPEED for combat warriors & where it fits in to his training model!! (I will be implementing this as I use too & have left it out due to space/winter etc... but with spring knocking on our door, I'll look to bring this back into our training!)
We also discussed other elements to training that will raise your combat I.Q. and therefore raise your training performance! Imperticular enjoyed his strength & speed aspect to his training, where he leaves out "power" in it's true sense to allow the fighter to perform it in their own training, therefore (I'm using my words) Martin trains the 2 ends of the spectrum & the combat athlete by default bridges the gap of "power training" on the mat/ring.
Again this is just a taste of what I'm recalling from our discussion, when the time comes you will have access to him and other like minded combat coaches that train real people & have been doing it longer then YouTube became the place for "educa-tainment" (education & entertainment as one :-)

Martin is keen to come to kiwi land & I'm thinking of bringing him over so we can all benefit from a coach who not only teaches but DOES & DOES before the Internet became "cool"!! Let me know by posting below if you would be prepared to pay for someone like Martin to come to a city near you in early 2011 or if you have more questions about Martin or anything combat, just fire away below!!!
Again to our whanau/family of Kiwi Warriors from Gracie Barra who made the trip to Las Vegas not only did you represent with honor I'm sure but you brought us home some medals & showed the US Grappling Nation that we are to be respected on the mat, ka mau te wehi!!
Raising the Combat I.Q. of those that are prepared to re-look at their belief systems of how to train for combat and then put their new belief system to work through ACTION!!!

Thanks for your comment Hamish, Auckland obviously one of the places we would come plus I’m thinking of opening it up to other sports/trainers as Strength & Speed are his “specialty”
