EHP is Closing Down!!

I’ve been quietly going about making it happen BUT it’s time to make it official.

EHP is closing down and moving on to new ventures!!

In fact this coming Saturday August 6^th my wife and I fly to Aussie for my sisters birthday and then she’ll return home & I’ll stay and probably set us up in Perth!

The obvious question is why, right?

Let’s keep it factual;

1) Earthquakes as a family we are ok with emotionally, the shocks have almost been a year of continuous earthquakes since the first big one in September 2010 and then the most devastating in February 2011.

2) They have had a massive cost on the business financially so much so that I’m shifting careers, for now anyway!

The last 6wks I’ve been drillers offsider and this is part of the move to Australia to continue that career in Perth.

Some people are shocked by the move but to us as a family it just makes sense! As a MAN it really makes sense after all 1 of the roles of the male is to PROVIDE & PROTECT.

Those 2 words may have MANY definitions & ways to show it & this is our way of providing and protecting.

What about my fitness professional career?

As I see it I can always come back to it, if I so choose at a later date. I mean it’s always there & anyone who knows me knows that when I CHOOSE my path I go all in, I’m not a “maybe” guy! Maybe people piss me off!!

We have all had an opportunity to “start again” or “reinvent” ourselves due to these earthquakes!! How often in life do you get the chance to have a CLEAN SLATE and START AGAIN!?

I’m not holding on to “what I had” I’m investing into a new challenge and a new way to provide & protect for my family!!

What does the future hold?

Who bloody knows only the god lady upstairs TRULY knows & I’m ok with “not knowing” it’s often the hardest thing to accept is the “unknown” but these earthquakes have taught us that at anytime you can lose it all & what really matters in this life is what you DO for yourself, whanau (family) & friends.
